With no surrounding planting or trees, the reflections on this pond are stunning.

One of the clients is an artist and she wanted a circular pond with a circular mound made from the excavated soil. There is also a circular garden near the pond.

The deck framework was painted black to give the appearance of a floating deck.

The profile of the pond is accurately excavated with the help of a laser level.

A Greenseal EPDM liner was used to waterproof the excavation. A narrow marginal planting bed was installed on top of the liner around the entire perimeter, for later planting.

A black dye was used to enhance reflections.
