This man-made woodland stream was originally created by tapping into an existing spring.

Unfortunately the weirs were leaking and the pools had silted up so a partial re-build was required.

The silted pools were carefully excavated and we replaced or repaired the concrete weirs with poured concrete.

Yellow flag-iris, primula and water forget-me-not soon became established.

A curved cedar bridge was added where the stream meets the lake.
