Bridge construction and riverbank protection, Hampshire.

The existing bridge over this Hampshire river needed replacing so a new 12 metre bridge was constructed on site using larch and cedar.

In addition to the bridge construction the adjoining 80 metre stretch of riverbank was protected from erosion using cedar boards.

Because ground conditions were wet and access was limited it was not practical to bring in a pre-formed bridge so the new bridge was constructed on site.

Several other footbridges were built over the numerous streams on the property.
